This is Hammerstein and Terri from The ABC Warriors, story The
Black Hole Mission, originally published in the British comic 2000ad
Prog. 557 in 1988.
Created and written by Pat Mills (He is a comic GOD) and drawing by
Simon Bisley (this series was Simon's first professional comic work and
it pretty much blew my mind).

this is a tonel dot screen test and the origional penciling of a
character i drew for the Hibernia Comics "Tales from the Emerald Isle" a
2000ad inspired comic fanzine, http://www.hiberniabook.blogspot.com/
writing credit on the character goes out to Shaun Avery.
never had the time in the end to render the story in this way due
to the deadline, so i went with the pencil's in the end.

this poster/signup sheet was illustrated for a local open pumpkin
growing competition, the final printed version was colour separated
into four channels with a large dot screen to give the effect of
classic comic colouring and printing.

Spun

Spun, a children's book by Emma Fisher and Thorey Mjallhvit, tells the
story of Ciaran & Piedva the spider and all the wonderful friends they
meet during the evenings bath time.
meanwhile.tv got involved to produce 6 dummy copies to help find a
publisher
