Black Hole Mission, originally published in the British comic 2000ad
Prog. 557 in 1988.
Created and written by Pat Mills (He is a comic GOD) and drawing by
Simon Bisley (this series was Simon's first professional comic work and
it pretty much blew my mind).

[Fwd: dot screen test]

this is a tonel dot screen test and the origional penciling of a
character i drew for the Hibernia Comics "Tales from the Emerald Isle" a
2000ad inspired comic fanzine, http://www.hiberniabook.blogspot.com/

never had the time in the end to render the story in this way due
to the deadline, so i went with the pencil's in the end.

inspired comic fanzine using some of the irish characters that graced
it's pages over the years, featuring the talents of Matthew McLaughlin,
Bryan Coyle Johnny McMonagle, Dirk Van Dom, David Blankley, Richmond
Clements, Shaun Avery, James Newell, David Withers and Alan Nolan, with
design by David Withers and Mike Carroll.

BOOM! 24 hour comic by James Newell


my 24 hour comic from this year, at the central hotel, Dublin, only got 7 pages
done in a 20 hours, all penciled and i managed to conclude the story, so i`m happy.
